Acts 2: 23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;
Your plan for our life is more than we can imagine for ourselves. Thank you, Father, for having our life plans in the palm of your hands. Your love for us is more than we can feel Father. That agape love is what carries us through the trial, tribulations and storms of life.

The job is not the answer. The family is not the answer. The vacation, house, next family trip is not the answer for the restlessness that lies within. What dwells in the recesses of our heart and soul is for a connection to something bigger and greater than what we see, hear and think. What lies within is a thirst for relationship with our creator. What lies within is a need and desire for a closeness to enriching and enriched that the things of this world will not do. In a season or pinch, we may think yes this is it. However, with time, a week, month or day the desire wells up again. Over and over, we have this experience shortly thereafter the next purchase, the next fix, the next dopamine endorphin high.
It is through prayer, and conversation with God that this is revealed as we search for purpose. God’s deliberate plan in His creation of us is for relationship and purpose. It is only through relationship with God we will get an understanding of our purpose. Our lives were methodically created to spur action. That action is to build. Through purpose we are in alignment with God’s deliberate plan for us.

God, we thank you for your deliberate plan for our lives When we dwell in your plan everything works out. When we dwell in your plan. The things of this life do not cause us harm as we rely solely on you. We are not swayed by appearance, and yet we are covered by our covenant with you. In Jesus name. Amen
