II Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Thank you for keeping us. Thank you for the protections you provide. In the midst of turmoil, when fear would take over our mind and our speech. You continue to lead, guide and direct. We say thank you Father. We say thank you for being with us when the enemy would see fit to destroy us with negative thoughts about your creation. Help us to always see you Father. Amen.

Where our mind goes our actions follow. My mind continued to dwell upon day lights savings time and the hour of sleep I was losing in the week. The more I dwelt upon that thought, the more difficult it became to get up at my scheduled time to meet my trainer. It became increasingly difficult. It became so difficult; I began to miss the time and eventually a day of two here and there. My work situation changed from day to day with my new supervisor. I noticed that with the more work product that was reassigned to someone else, the more I became increasingly concerned about being employed. The more concern about my employment I displayed, the more difficult it became to exhibit a pleasing Christlike demeanor to those around me. Because my thoughts were consumed with how I was going to support my family without steady income. No one had told me I would be unemployed. My mind had magnified and amplified the reassignment of work product and came to this conclusion on its own. However, the peace of God descended upon me when I turned it all over to Him. You see in Him I can do all things. So, what if the job was lost. I would find another one. In fact, He had already given me another source of income. He called for me to dwell in the present with the facts so that I can see His love for me, His child, and continue to operate with the sound mind He blessed me with. He called for me to focus on this one day in the present, not one day in the future so far off. Only He knows our future. With a sound mind, I can continue to love those around me as He has called. With His love, there is power.

Father thank you for the present. Thank you for calling us your own. Thank you for the love and sound mind that casts out fear that the enemy would have us to believe as truth. Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to bring it all to you so that you restore our mind back to your goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and loving kindness. In Jesus name. Amen.
