Prayer & Supplication with Thanksgiving

Philippians 4: 6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Thankful amid trial and tribulation. God is always there. Constant prayer is a state of being. It is a permanent fixture in the lives of who we are as Christians. This acknowledgment of the Father, the conversation we get to have with Him. What a gift! What a gift! What a gift! Life itself, a heartfelt prayer. A prayer of acknowledgment of the goodness of who He is in our lives.

Prayer and supplication. A powerful, power packed duo. Prayer, beseeching God is conversation. Supplication, a form of kneeling and bending down to make a humble petition or entreaty to God. As a child to humbly go before God and ask for something is a gift. A blessed reward to do so. Being able to cast our cares on and to the Father. Another reward and gift. Humbly seeing who He is and that He is constantly with us. Thank you, Father, for another opportunity to see You. Thank you, Father, for another opportunity, another chance to come to You yet again. To come to You seeking calm. Knowing that peace and rest is found in Your loving arms.

Help us to continue to seek your peace Father. Help us to know that when our requests are made known to you, the answer is on the way. The solution is at hand and ours to be had Lord God. That the peace that reigns with you is a birthright as a child of a King. Help us to know that when we fall short as we will Lord God, that it is simply another opportunity experience growth in our relationship with You. It is a chance to be a part of a miraculous miracle. It is an opportunity to experience a leap towards our designed purpose. It is an opportunity to say, “Yes to your way and will.

Designed you did Father, to praise and worship You. Designed us your did. So let us come to you in prayer and supplication. Humbly saying thank you. Humbly being grateful. Humbly charged with your love and peace, that guards our hearts and mind. Thank you for all that you are and do Father. Amen.
