Ephesians 3:20 & 21 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
He can do exceedingly abundantly above all. Do we believe it? I have had my doubts. I still do sometimes. How do I know? I know because I doubt myself. I doubt my capabilities, accomplishments, journey. All of which He has palced in me. I can doubt it all. I have high moments of boldness and confidence. However, doubt does creep in. I would be less than honest if I said I was confident and bold all the time. It is a new season which He has put me in. The doubt was with me for so long that it is like a security blanket. I can find myself clinging to it. It is soft and comfortable. You know?
To believe that He wants to do exceedingly abundantly above all is a new normal. A mindset that I must step into. His ways are higher than ours. What we see and think is awesome, is nothing compared to our God. I’ve heard that the sky is the limit for our God. However, I would say that there is no limit. Even the sky cannot identify with His exceedingly and abundantly above all. It is all for His glory. He performs miracles to show His glory. He does exceedingly abundantly above all for His glory. God thank you for your glory Father.
The enemy uses doubt to try and stop the exceedingly abundantly above all abundance that He wants to do in our lives. His abundance can exceed the spiritual to manifest itself in the natural. In the spiritual it is an abundance of joy, peace, patience, gentleness, loving kindness and so much more. In the natural we think of the comforts on this earth. They are both elements of our existence. Jesus lived on this earth as one of us. We are made in His image. So, He understands the needs we have for air, shelter, and food. His exceedingly abundantly above all doesn’t have limits. It covers and transforms all elements of life.
So let us expect, believe, hope and have faith in God’s exceedingly abundantly above all. It is promised in His word. He is not a man that He should lie. Praise be to God’s holy name.
As always be encouraged. 😊
