Thoughts, Ways, Heavens and Earth

Isiah 55: 8 & 9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways”, says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

They all work together – thoughts, ways, heavens and earthThoughts in our mind help to define what we do. Have you ever heard someone say, “She has certain ways about her.”? Heaven’s ways are so much better than what we can think or do. This earthly realm doesn’t compare with His goodness.

God’s thoughts are higher than ours. God’s thoughts are for all His children. All HIs favorite children. We all are His favorite. Our thoughts can’t compare with His. No matter how many likes or follows we have. We can’t know all of God’s children. He knows each one of us. Yet, He also knows all the animals, birds, fish. everything. So, our thoughts, our mind, can’t comprehend or fathom all that He does.

Our way, the things we do doesn’t compare to what He can do. See saints He can perform miracles, and He uses us to be His hands and feet here on this earth to perform His miracle. And only a God can take the bitterness and hardship of Naomi and Ruth and bless and restore for them more than they could imagine. A new covenant family and a newfound belief and relationship filled with humility and surrender to Him. His ways are not our ways.

Heaven is not so removed from us saints and it doesn’t compare to this earth. Heaven is higher. Heaven causes us to pray, believe and have faith that we have received as it says in Mark 11:24. In Matthew 6:7-15 it tells us to not use vain repetitions in prayer and our Father knows the things we have need of even before we ask Him. It goes on in prayer. Yet, it finishes with forgiveness. See saint’s heaven is so far removed from this earth. Because we are guilty. We are guilty in this earthly vessel in allowing this flesh not to forgive. However, how can we not? Our heavenly Father will forgive us. Seek Him, our heavenly Father in prayer and fasting. Not done to be glorified by men. Yet in a secret place to glorify and magnify Him. To do so in the secret place (in heaven) who will reward. Provide His blessing.

We will have challenges in this Earth. They will come to challenge our thoughts, ways, and our heaven journey for Jesus. Yet our pursuit shall remain for Him. Our challenge is to keep our thoughts on Him. Our ways in which we treat His children. Our ways in worship. Our ways in encouraging others. Our ways in living for His righteousness, Our ways in our walk and talk of His goodness. Our ways of pleasing Him. All our ways will be challenged.

Yet our focus shall remain on Heaven. We will yet live a life pleasing heaven. We will seek a heavenly response. We will yet have heavenly thoughts of our brothers and sisters. We will illicit, surrender and humbly have a heavenly response in situations where our earthly response is on the tip of our tongue. We live here on this earth. However, let us confuse the enemy by heaping coals of fire on his head when asked for bread and water as it states in Proverbs 25:21-22. Or let us count all that is bitter and let out response be sweet as it says in Proverbs 27:7. Let us give hearty counsel as ointment and perfume from the softened heart as it talks of in Proverbs 27:9.

However, let our walk be wise as we trust in Him and not trust in our heart like a fool as it tells us in Proverbs 28:26. Let us trust in Him, fear the Lord and obey those who He has called to serve over us. Trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon God as it tells us in Isiah 50:10.

So let our thoughts dwell upon God so that our actions may mimic His ways. Because heaven, where we wish to dwell is and calls for a higher level of living than what we see here in this earth
