Philippians 3:14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Father, you call for us to go higher. Helps us to be aware of the enemies’ tricks when you call Father. Help us to still bend to your will. Help us to know your voice and not get weary or frightful of being uncomfortable along the journey. Help us to see you. Help us to be grateful in being used for your glory for the edification of the body. May your love surround us and protect us from the enemy’s darts and evil ways. In Jesus name. Amen.

In the press, we see and experience the work of Christ. In the press, we are called to get out of our will and way and trust in God. In the press, there is a painful process that tells us of God’s glory and direction for our lives in a way that His joy consumes us. In the press we are challenged in fighting from a place of victory. In the press, it is difficult to believe that we are victorious. However, that wonderous prize, that joyful gift and prize, that victorious prize, that Christ Jesus prize is worthy. That prize is oh so worthy. May the joy of Him and that press be the call that keep us on our feet. May that press put a wing and spring in our step that speaks to who He is calling us to be in the world. May that press be so powerful that the enemy is scared back to the gates of hell with a clink and clank of the chain and gate swinging so swiftly close behind him as he cowers in fear of the faith that rises in us. We press Father, to show the world you. We press Father because the joy of you is our call. We press Father because we see you smiling, the smile of a proud Father. A glow so bright shining from within us Father that it beckons and calls to your wayward children in a way that draws them back to you, Father. They are drawn so close, so near that your love surrounds them in a way Lord that they are shielded from the enemy’s wily ways. They are shielded God. Shielded and shrouded in your awesome, awe-inspiring love. We pray for your protection, on them, in them and around them. Cover them, Father. In Jesus name. Amen.

Father help us to thank you for the press. Help us to see it as a blessing and not a curse. Help us to know your love is still present in the press. It is because of the press’s that we can see you, Father. It is because of the press that we know the goal is on the horizon. If it was east, you would not have called us toward sit. However, because it is present Father, your call is on our lives. So, thank you for the call. In Jesus name. Amen.
