Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him.
God thank you for the life you have set before us. Help us to expect it to be prosperous in your way Lord. We are your creation. We have wants and desires. However, help us to go your way and be led by your design for our life, this life you created. In Jesus name. Amen.

Ae you ever had a desire so strong for something that it consumed your every waking hour? Even in your sleep dreams are had? Yet, the result was not readily at hand as quickly as you desired. You could not see it manifest itself. However, is that not faith? To believe in and for something that you cannot readily see. All the work that goes forward into this belief. All the hope that goes forward. All the belief that goes forward. It is a silent wait that we do. To wait silently is not to talk of what has not come to the past. However, it is the work that is called for in the season of waiting. Committed and consistent work must yield a result. However, only God knows when. He knows when. To wait silently is a show of faith in Him. To wait silently, builds our character up to exhibit more and more of Him. To wait silently helps us lean into His strength during our weakness, where we may start to wonder why do all this work? What is all this work for? When we begin to feel as if it is done for naught. It reminds us that we are in His will and walking His way, not our own. It helps us to remember Proverbs 3:5, to not lean to our own understanding.

Father, thank you for the peace that you yield when we put our expectations in you. It is not man that we seek and look towards. It is you, our father, that we look to. It is you our father that we see and seek in these life happenings as we wait silently on you. So, father, gird us up. Let us not grow weary. However, help us to be steadfast as we wait silently for you Father. In Jesus name. Amen.
