Commit & Trust

Psalm 37:5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

Father, thank you for your commitment to never give up on your children. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your forgiveness of our sins. Help us Father to go the way that you direct. May your will be done Father. Help us to lean into your way of life, the living water Father. In Jesus name. Amen.

Journey of life that God has us on is amazing. He continues to show us Him in our relationships with people, our conversations, everywhere we are always. It is His commitment to us that presents opportunities before us. However, can we be committed and have trust in His leadership? I am often left bereft with people. Pain and heartache can follow this desire. Our thoughts, understanding, wants and desires at times, do not line up with those of others. In my health ministry, there is a desire to go my own way when we are circuit training. However, most recently, I have started to listen to coach. It was only one day. However, it is a start. A commitment to trust and follow a coach as he coaches on the technique in working out on machines that will yield the most optimal result for health. As leadership, there is a need to follow a committed disciple for this health journey. As a pupil, it is with trust that I follow the example of life set before me with the ministry. This trust opens the door to an opportunity to mature and grow in my health. This faith walk believes in a result I can’t readily see. However, it is with faith that I continue to be willing, be obedient, and submit to eat the good of the land, my improved health. So, I show up on time, turn the volume down on my headphones, and listen to instructions as I follow the coach and team.

Father, thank you for your bible of instruction. Thank you for being committed to our well-being that you saw fit to leave a roadmap to life. Thank you for the relationships that you have provided to give us life. Help us to trust your way. In Jesus name. Amen.
