Give Thanks

I Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Father, thank you for your love. It is unconditional. It is a joy to experience. Help us Father to stay in your place of thanksgiving, grateful and appreciative. In Jesus name. Amen.

God honors prayer. In 2019, God called my high school friend home. In that same year, He decided that a 14-year friendship must end. It was a season of loneliness that did not compare to high school or college years, where alone was comfortable and very familiar. The dream required undivided attention and energy. The dream for a better future. Grateful and thankful that God honors prayer. Those friendships where appropriate for the season that He had me in at that moment. At this moment, God has replaced that and so much more. Queens that are like minded, in numerous ways; conversation, interests, travel destinations, prayer, reading, fellowship that is meaningful growth. Mind, body and spirit work in progress. The list is too plentiful to list. The Queendom and the Queens that reside there are a beautiful bouquet to behold and be in relationship and fellowship. For two decades, to share, explain and articulate the element of life that was missing. This life-giving season is full of His promises. Whatever season, let’s give thanks. He always has a reason for what He does. He develops, cultivates, and prepares during the lonely season. Let us give thanks that He does not leave us alone. He is always there. Even in when we feel alone. He is there, so let us give thanks.

God we are so thankful and grateful for who you are and what you do. When we are lonely let us see you. We are in a season we don’t’ understand, and it feels barren, help us to know you are cultivating us and you prepare us for our next. In Jesus name. Amen.
