He Heals the Brokenhearted

Psalm 147: 3 He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

Father thank you for healing. Thank you for the ability to see, hear, and feel you in during our trials and test. Thank you for the trials and tests. We know that they allow us to see you at work in our lives.  That healing is taking place and you clean our hearts of the past sorrow, mistakes and pain. Thank you for healing our hearts. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

During a national pandemic, God has allowed something brand new to take shape and form. He has allowed a technology thunderstorm to give us rest and a more enhanced means to communicate with family and friends that do not live in our near vicinity. He has allowed places of employment to expand their work policies to include teleworking and options that allow employees flexibility with accounting for work time. He has allowed children and adolescents to experience online, education something which had been deemed only appropriate at the collegiate level of education. Thorughout these changed many have kicked against the brick and longed for the past that they knew and understood. However, the change in basic assumptions that has taken place is such a magnificent thing to experience and behold. God is healing the brokenhearted. For those that were technology challenged like me, he has enabled them to go beyond that fear and expand them know how and knowledge base with newfound means of technology to use or be left behind the masses as we work and attempt to stay in touch with loved ones. For those of us that somehow lost balance in our lives and our coworkers became our family, He has given us sweet rest to reestablish relationship with blood kin and others who genuinely love us. Yet, we could not see it because we were so consumed by our own narrative of the friendship and relationship wounds. Our children, the generation that will come behind us. He has given them a strength of surviving and thriving that is a wonder to behold. When they need it, it will kick in the most magnificent and mighty way. When He heals the brokenhearted and bins up their wounds, the complete holistic healing, that takes place is only something a God, a Father, a parent, a creator can do.

Thank you, Father, that our wounds have been healed. Thank you for the broken heart. Without it, we would not rightly come and turn it all over to you. Thank you for sharing and showing us your mighty strength. Thak you for binding the wounds. Your love for us is so powerful. Help up to continue to look toward you for our healing and transformation. In Jesus mighty name. Amen
