The Paths of the Lord

Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, To such as keep HIs covenant and His testimonies. 

I just became present to the fact that all my life I have tried to fit in. Whether it was at school, with a group of friends, in church ministries. I have always wanted to be a part of the group. However, it is only recently that I have come to realize the unique design that our Father has put in us all. I too am uniquely designed. I have had an opportunity for the past year to sit, be quiet, and listen to my Daddy. I have had an opportunity to reflect upon the past and accept who He has made me to be. It has been a pleasant and eye-opening revelation. I am a person who has always found herself surrounded by seasoned saints. Never quite fitting in with those in my own age demographic. I am extremely comfortable with not following the crowd. If I am left out and fending to my own devices, so be it. All because the paths of the Lord.  

The paths of the Lord calls for us to be set apart. The paths of the Lord cannot be changed. The paths of the Lord are already written. In Jeremiah 1:5 He tells us “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations. He knew us before we were conceived in our mother’s womb. The paths of the Lord were constructed for us prior to our conception. The choices that we make, that will that He gave us, does not change the paths of the Lord. The paths of the Lord is where we find Him. The paths of the Lord gives us instruction. The paths of the Lord provides a course for our actions, reactions, and responses. The prewritten course houses the details for each of His unique creations, us. Those elements of each of us that make us stand out. Those elements we each have that seem unique to others, but to us come so naturally, it is like taking our next breath. Effortless, seamless, and coordinated with the quickened spirit He is placed within. The paths of the Lord. 

The paths of the Lord yield the harvest that is promised in His holy word. The paths of the Lord. May I share saints that in this season, the paths of the Lord have yielded a harvest full of new friends where camouflage has been thrown out and replaced with an honest open and transparent vulnerability that is healing the spirit of women. The paths of the Lord has strengthened relationships with my husband, mother, friend, co-workers, and peers where I am not second guessing my actions and offending others with my choices. The paths of the Lord have allowed me to express and experience my emotions and not act as if they do not existence. The paths of the Lord have caused me to accept my unique design, which must not be compared to another. The paths of the Lord have allowed me to appreciate my massive time with seasoned saints and gleam a new understanding of Him. Most important the paths of the Lord has led me to prayer, the communication and conversations which helps to keep me connected to my Daddy’s will for my life.  

So let us be encouraged and continue in the paths of the Lord.
