Psalm 103: 1-4 Bless the Lord, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
I found this week that Bless the Lord was difficult for me. My emotions ruled my responses more than Him ruling in my Mind, Body, Sprit temples. One minute I was kind, nice and compliant. The next moment, I was raising cane. It was the most harmful roller coaster. The up and down not only affected me. It affected my family as well, husband and two children. Thankful that they love me and have thick skins. Not to take advantage of course. However, to love me in my fleshly human state anyway. It is a blessing to be loved. It is a blessing to be in relationship. It is a blessing to be in fellowship. It is indeed a blessing. Thankful for the males in my home. My prayer is in spite and despite my flesh, they know God loves them more than I ever could. I pray that they can continue to forgive me as the Father has forgiven us all.
Bless the Lord is a greeting to the day! Bless the Lord is balm to the soul. Bless the Lord is an opportunity to expound upon His goodness. Bless the Lord is freedom to be who God has made each of us to be. His uniquely, individually designed gifts. Bless the Lord is a praise song and dance. Bless the Lord is a running, praising, praying, shouting goodtime. Bless the Lord calms the soul. Bless the Lord allows the mind to process life’s happenings. We will not like or be able to understand them all the time. However, seeking God’s wisdom allows us to dwell in a place of anyhow. I will praise Him anyhow. I will magnify Him anyhow. I will tell of His goodness anyhow. I will speak in a loving tone and manner anyhow. I love Him anyhow. He forgives me anyhow. I am thankful for God’s anyhow this week. Not an excuse or opportunity to take advantage of others. However, an opportunity to be extended grace. An opportunity to be on the other side of forgiveness. An opportunity to have a hallelujah enjoyable time anyhow. Bless the Lord. Bless His Holy and righteous name. Bles the Lord.
Bless the Lord with all that is within me, Bless His holy name.
God, we thank you for yet another opportunity to recognize you during our situations. We thank you for yet another opportunity to bless your name. We thank you for another opportunity to speak on your goodness. We thank you Father for yet another opportunity to experience who you are in our lives. We thank you for restoration back to the body. We thank you for all you do. We thank you Father. There is no other like you. It is only because of you Father that we have life. We thank you. Thank you, Lord God. Bless the Lord. Bless the Lord. Bless the Lord. Bless the Lord.
