Sing Praises to Your Name

salms 92:1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High

I love to sing. Not so sure if I am on key or off, and yet I still love to sing. Most often than not, I am told I am indeed on key. You see, the song that our God has allowed me to sing is not the usual melodic tone that we are accustomed. The tone He has gifted me with is one of encouragement. A word of encouragement to speak into one’s life. Two helping hands to assist others with their dreams. This too, I am learning is a song. A song that so many of us need to hear and receive.

Encouraging others with a testimony sings praises to His name. It is only because of God that walls and mountains can be encouraging. You see with Him the is victory in all circumstances when we submit to His will for our lives. Our Daddy wants the best for us. Hold on to that promise, not matter how it may look. Hold onto that promise and sing praises to His holy name. Words of encouragement to a downtrodden soul gives breath to a new life of joy and possibility that circumstances, and situations will change for good in due season. His due season. So, let us sing praises to His holy name.

An encouraging word to a mother who is in doubt of how she will feed her four children without the benefit of a job or even public assistance provides food spiritually and physically letting her know she is not alone and He keeps promises as shared in Matthew 6:25 and 26. He feeds the birds and will feed you too. Encouraging others to listen and follow that voice whispers you are different from your peers. Different not better. Different. You prefer to study when they are out partying. When you are out partying with them, you feel uncomfortable like you are in the wrong place. Ill at ease. Uneasy. That difference, that Holy Spirit difference is directing us away from the fitting in form and fashion of this earthly world to the path and purpose life that Christ created us for. Into that gift that will open doors. Into that talent that He helped us develop for such a time as this, in the waiting season. Into that thing that makes you uniquely you. That unique design that He has placed in all of us when He crafted and created us. It says in Psalms 139, Verses 1 through 4

1 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
3 You [a]comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.

Verses 13 through 16:

13 For You formed my inward parts;
You [f]covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for [g]I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My [h]frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

Verse 18:

18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.

Singing praises to His name, using the blessings as He instructs us, sings praises to His name. It tells Him we are grateful for what He has done. It shows Him we are thankful for His many blessings. It shows other Him. It brings more disciples back into right relationship and fellowship with the Father. Be encouraged to sing His praises even when we may not feel like it. In singing His praises is the victory. Singing His praises changes the situation as all things are working for our good, those who love the Lord. So why not sing His praises today? Sing His praises today and each day going forward.
